Tehran (IP)- The Technology Investment Meeting (TIM) of the D8 Group ( 8 Islamic countries) and other participating countries started on February 21at Pardis Technology Park.

Iran PressIran news: The TIM International Event is one of the technology exchange network programs held in 3 periods to help invest in technology.

According to Iran Press News Agency, 61 startups, investable companies, and domestic and foreign investors are present in this two-day international event.

On the sidelines of this international event, contracts and memoranda worth millions of dollars were signed between Iranian technologists and foreign parties.

 At the 4th Technology Investment Meeting of investors and startups from Iran, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Oman, Portugal, Tunisia, Syria, Bosnia, and more than 50 foreign venture capital funds to provide capital opportunities ‌.

According to the event organizers, 167 technology startups, including 140 domestic and 27 foreign startups, participated in TIM2022. In the end, 61 startups and investable companies were selected and introduced to the relevant investors, including 12 foreign startups, and the rest were Iranian.

The event includes various programs such as presenting creative companies to attract capital, specialized panels, training courses, signing memoranda of understanding, concluding joint venture agreements, and visiting Iran's technology and innovation ecosystem.
