Iran logs 182 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 182 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 134,420.

 

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 17, 2022, 6,894,110 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,402,821 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 17,545 cases, of whom 2,342 patients were hospitalized.

3,760 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 46,387,877 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 247 cities are red, 112 are orange, 89 are yellow , with no blue zone.

So far, 61,871,219 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 54,939,561 have received the second dose, 21,865,626 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 138,676,406 doses.
