Middle East(IP): Reacting to the recent terrorist attack in Damascus, Syrian foreign minister said on Tuesday that those who support terrorists will soon suffer the consequences of terrorism.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Iran Press quoting Russia Today (RT), regarding Tuesday's bombing in Damascus, Faisal Mekdad said: "Such condemned terrorist acts show the continuance of the Western-American aggression and their continued support for armed terrorist groups."

He added: "We will continue with the steadfastness of the Syrian Arab Army to reach achievements that guarantee the security of the Syrian people and, on the other hand, guarantee the fight against international terrorism."

The Syrian foreign minister said: "We condemn all these actions and tell all those who encourage terrorism that they should stop doing this because terrorism may reach their homes and know that some of Syria's enemy countries are suffering the consequences of Encouraging, financing and supporting terrorism.

Mekdad stressed that the international situation is at a dangerous stage of tension, which is mainly due to the fact that Western countries are targeting countries that continue to strive to maintain their sovereignty and independence.

One Syrian soldier was killed and 11 others were injured when a minibus bomb exploded in the Syrian capital on Tuesday.
