Iran logs 167 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 167 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 134,053.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 15, 2022, a total number of 6,860,255 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,351,542 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 25,034 cases, of whom 2,768 were hospitalized.

3,489 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 46,227,497 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 247 cities are red, 112 are orange, 89 are yellow, with no blue zone.

So far, 61,727,179 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 54,877,715 have received the second dose, 21,593,011 have received the booster shot, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 138,197,905 doses.
