Tehran (IP) - Iranian intellectuals and officials analyzed and scrutinized a national plan of Iran called the "Second Phase of the Revolution" at the third anniversary of its issuance by the Leader.

Iran PressIran News: Three years ago, on this day, as Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution, which put an end to centuries of monarchy and established the Islamic Republic as the new political system, entered its fifth decade, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, issued a statement called "Second Phase of the Revolution."

Addressed to the Iranian nation, especially the youth, the "Second Phase of the Revolution" is viewed as the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the Islamic Republic.

Now, coinciding with the third anniversary of the issuance of the statement by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a ceremony on Saturday in Tehran, Iranian intellectuals and officials discussed various aspects of the Second Phase of the Revolution, how to promote it, and its necessities and strategies.

In the ceremony, the Minister of Education, Yousef Nouri, stated that education has a unique role regarding the next generations' upbringing, which is one of the goals outlined in the statement of the Second Phase of the Revolution. 

"According to the second step statement, the youths are the driving force and the axis of the country's movement," he said.

Also, Ensieh Khazali, Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs, pointed out the importance of confronting the enemy's soft war and said: "Confronting the enemy's propaganda and creating hope and a positive view of the future are among the issues that are emphasized in this statement."

The role of media and art in explaining the statement of the Second Phase of the Revolution was one of the issues mentioned by Vahid Yaminpour, the deputy minister of youth and sports.

He said explaining the statement of the Second Phase of the Revolution should not be only in the political field. "We must also pay attention to this issue in our artistic productions."
