Afghan senior cleric:

Kabul(IP) -The deputy of the Council of Shi'a ulema of Afghanistan said that Imam Khomeini's Revolution was formed within the framework of the Holy Quran and the tradition and manners of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) to guide the people and shook the world, especially the Islamic world.

On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution, intellectuals and people of conscience continue to express their opinions on the remarkable achievements made by the Islamic Revolution.

In an interview with Iran Press in Kabul, the deputy of the Council of Shi'a ulema of Afghanistan, professor Mohammad Akbari stated about the impact of the Islamic Revolution among Islamic countries, saying: "At a time when Muslims were neglected, and the spirit of surrender to arrogance reigned in the Islamic world, the voice of the Islamic Revolution's freedom-seeking was heard under the leadership of Imam Khomeini."

He stressed that the Islamic Revolution of Iran, led by Imam Khomeini, showed that Islam can govern society in the best way and that this revolution would create hope for the Islamic world and awaken Muslims from neglect.

Professor Mohammad Akbari said that after the uprising of Imam Khomeini, the scholars of the Islamic world and Muslims stopped being indifferent, with no more surrendering to arrogance, and turned to the struggle for freedom.

The deputy head of the Afghan Shi'a Ulema Council said that the current situation in the Muslim world is very different from 43 years ago when the Islamic Revolution of Iran won and that there is an Islamic awakening and a tendency to establish an Islamic government in the Islamic world.
