Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister told his Nicaraguan counterpart that cooperation with the Latin American countries was important for Iran.

Iran PressIran news: In a telephone conversation with the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Moncada on Friday, Iran's Hossein Amir-Abdollahian congratulated him over the election of Daniel Ortega as Nicaragua's President and highlighted the importance of cooperation of Iran with the Latin American countries. 

Amir-Abdollahian pointed to the presence of Iranian Vice President for Economic Affairs Mohsen Rezai in the inauguration ceremony of President Ortega and said Iran was ready to implement all of the agreements signed between the two countries during the vice president's trip. 

Denis Moncada for his part pointed to the agreements on different economic areas including medicine, science, technology, and industry, saying his country was ready to implement the agreements as soon as possible. 

The Nicaraguan Foreign Minister also invited the Iranian foreign minister to have a visit to Nicaragua.
