Tehran(IP): The head coach of the national football team of Iran said that his team could win against the Iraqi national football team.

The national football team of Iran will face Iraq on Thursday, which is on the verge of one of the least troublesome qualification processes in the World Cup, which will be registered with only a draw.

According to Iran Press News Agency, Dragan Skočić, at a press conference before his team's match against Iraq, which was held as a webinar at Tehran's Azadi Stadium on Wednesday night, added: "If my players give 100% of their strength, we can finish this game successfully."

The head coach of the Iranian national football team said: "The game against Iraq is very important because we can register our qualification."

"I saw the Iraqi games in the Arab Cup, I know they are young and tough players," added Dragan Skočić.

The head coach of the Iraqi national team, Željko Petrović, also attended the press conference and said: "The Iran-Iraq match is an important game in Asia, and two teams are important in Asia."
