Istanbul (IP) – Istanbul has faced heavy snowfall recently, and people's commute is difficult.

Iran PressAsia: After last week's images of some animals freezing in Turkey due to heavy snowfall in the media, the snowfall in some parts of Istanbul has now reached about one meter in height and has caused many problems for the people and the public transport system.

Thousands were stranded in Istanbul's heavy snowstorm and ice, and heavy snowfall has disrupted domestic and international flights at Istanbul Airport, news sources reported.

Meanwhile, heavy snowfall last week affected other countries, and border areas in northwestern and western Iran also recently undergone heavy snowfall and severe cold.
