Iran, Iraq sign MoU on health tourism

Tehran (IP) - The Red Crescent Societies of Iran and Iraq signed a memorandum of understanding on health tourism cooperation.

Iran PressIran News: Based on the MoU signed on Monday in Tehran by Iranian and Iraq's RCS heads, Pir-Hossein Kolivand and Yasin Ahmad Abbas, the two countries would cooperate in fields such as medicine production, medical equipment, rehabilitation services, and health tourism.

Providing medical services for clinics required by the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center affiliated with the Iranian Red Crescent Society, which are based in Karbala, Najaf, Kadhimiya, and Samarra, and cooperation for treating the Iraqi patients introduced by Iran's RCS also were among the MoU provisions. 

The MoU signed is credible for ten years, set in 7 articles and an introduction.
