Iran Press/ Iran news: The honoring ceremony for women was held at Vahdat Hall in Tehran on Monday, with a number of the wives of Islamic countries' ambassadors attending the event.
Speaking at a ceremony on the occasion of 'Woman Day', Hossein Amir-Abdollahian highlighted the role of women in the country's foreign policy, saying whenever they engage in political affairs, they did it expertly and with precision.
He said that 30 percent of the foreign ministry's personnel were women.
There, President Raisi's wife Jamileh Alamolhoda delivered a speech, elaborating on the role model for the women of the traditional and modern era.
She expressed hope that the current administration has developed plans to further elevate the status of women in Iranian society.
