Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 21 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 132,251.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 24, 2022, 6,258,181 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,082,759 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,691 cases, of whom 577 were hospitalized.

1,222 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 44,138,128 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 60,513,855 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 53,651,657 have received the second dose, 14,856,764 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 129,022,276 doses.
