Islamabad (IP) – Iran's Ambassador to Islamabad and the Chief Justice of Pakistan stressed the need for developing legal and judicial cooperation.

Iran PressAsia: Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed and the Iranian Envoy Mohammad-Ali Hosseini met on Tuesday to discuss the latest political, economic, social, and cultural relations between Iran and Pakistan.

Pointing to the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two neighbors in the legal and judicial fields, Hosseini underlined the need for meetings between officials of the two countries.

He stated that the essential purpose of these meetings is to provide a suitable ground for promoting cooperation, exchange of experiences in the legal and judicial fields, and signing a judicial assistance agreement.

Gulzar Ahmed welcomed exchanging judicial and legal staff, especially the visit of Iran's judiciary chief to Islamabad, and emphasized exchanging experiences between judges of the two countries and the judicial colleges of Iran and Pakistan.
