Baghdad Today news website also quoted security sources as saying that the US embassy in Baghdad was targeted by unknown forces with two rockets.
Following the missile strike, the US Embassy-based C-RAM defense system was activated.
Al-Mayadin news network, however, announced that the number of rockets was three and quoted a security source as saying that two people were injured in a rocket attack tonight on the green zone of Baghdad and the US embassy. 219
