Oman (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister says that the political future of Yemen depends on the Yemeni-Yemeni talks.

Iran PressMiddle East: Meeting the chief negotiator of the Yemeni National Government, Mohammad Abdulsalam, in Masqat on Monday evening, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed that the blockade on the Yemeni nation must be ended.

Abdulsalam, for his part, condoled the martyrdom of the late Iranian Ambassador to Yemen Hasan Irlu and appreciated Iran's supports for the Yemeni nation.

About 100,000 patients had died because they could not travel outside Yemen to treat themselves. More than one million Yemenis need special medicines to treat their chronic illness. Still, only 400,000 medicines enter through Sanaa Airport, and it is impossible to import them through other crossings.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Muscat on Monday, heading a delegation, and met with Oman's Deputy Prime Minister Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said and Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi to discuss bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
