Iran Press/ Iran news: The head of The Organization for Mobilization of the Oppressed stressed that in the post-COVID-19 era, the narrators of the Holy Defense should carry out regular programs to explain the eight years of the imposed war.
According to Iran Press News Agency, Basij Chief Brigadier General Gholamreza Soleimani, at the Fourth National Conference of the Narrators of the Holy Defense and Resistance Revolution added: "After two years that the great nation of Iran was involved in COVID-19, these days we are witnessing favorable conditions."
He also expressed hope that Iran would not see the other peaks of COVID-19 anymore.
Brigadier-General Gholamreza Soleimani stated that with officials’ cooperation, the pandemic would be contained soon as the infections rate has been falling significantly.
Appreciating the health staff’s efforts in combatting COVID-19, he reiterated that the Health Ministry and health staff had proved their capabilities in introducing new capacities at the time of fighting biological epidemics.
“In the fight against the new COVID variant, nearly 70 million people have been screened all across the country,” he added.
He said the project is implemented with the cooperation of the Health Ministry, Basij, and the Red Crescent Society, where the volunteer forces provide information, testing, diagnosis, referral of suspects to health centers, and offer services by visiting people’s homes.
“While the world is facing lack of anti-coronavirus materials including masks and ventilators, now Iran can export these materials to regional markets and countries,” General Soleimani noted.
The head of the Basij Organization for the Oppressed said: "Narrating the holy defense and resistance fronts from different aspects is important for Islamic Iran because in the past, the Iranian nation suffered great and irreparable damage for many reasons that should not be easily overlooked."
Brigadier General Gholamreza Soleimani added: "Jihad (holy war) war is very important to explain and narrate the holy defense of the Iranian nation, the holy defense that the Late Imam Khomeini (Rh) reconstructed Ashura in that period with his art of Imamate and Wilayah and manifested Ashura before our eyes, each of those periods and the scenes of the Holy Defense have a detailed hadith for the narration.
The holy defense must be narrated in such a way that not only the historical memory of the Iranian nation is filled with these glories, epics, braveries, loyalty and epics, but also guarantees the future path of the Iranian nation, the holy system of the Islamic Republic against the enemies.
