Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister says the casting division between Afghanistan and its neighbors is the policy of the US in the region.

Iran PressIran news: Receiving Afghanistan's Foreign Ministry caretaker Molawi Amir Khan Mottaqi on Sunday, Hossein Amirabdollahian said the US-seized financial resources of Afghanistan must be released and given to Afghanistan to improve the people's economic situation. 

Amirabdollahian recalled Iran's humanitarian aid to the Afghan people, adding that Iran would continue the help and utilize the regional capacity for preparing further aid for the people of Afghanistan.

He then highlighted the memory of Iranian diplomats martyred in Mzaar Sharif, recalling the responsibility of the ruling body in Afghanistan to preserve the diplomatic sites in the country. 

The Foreign Minister of the Afghan interim government for his part appreciated Iran's hospitality for hosting Afghan immigrants during the past 43 years.

Mottaqi stressed that the new Afghan government would not take hostile policy towards any country. 

The Islamic Republic of Iran stresses the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan with the participation of all ethnic groups and parties in the country.
