Baghdad (IP): Referring to the role of resistance commanders in the fight against ISIS, the Iraqi president said that "Martyr Soleimani" came to Iraq's aid in difficult and critical moments.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Baghdad Al-Youm, Iraqi President Barham Salih addressed the commemoration ceremony of the second martyrdom anniversary of the martyrdom of resistance commanders in Baghdad on Wednesday.

Saleh added: "On the anniversary of the martyrdom of Qasim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandis, we once again remember the victory over ISIL and the defeat of the terrorist outfit 's project in Iraq."

"Given the courage of the resistance commanders and their role in defeating the terrorists, the new Iraqi government must be able to overcome the current crisis," he added.

Falih al-Fayyadh, head of the Popular Mobilization Organization, Nouri al-Maliki, director of the Rule of Law Coalition, and Iraqi Interior Minister Othman Al-Ghanmi, spoke about resistance commanders and their role in assisting the country in the fight against terrorism.
