Tehran (IP)- After the recent developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and the war between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Iran's relations with Armenia have entered a new phase.

Iran PressIran News: Tehran and Yerevan intend to maximize their interactions by developing cooperation, especially in the economy; in this regard, Ara Shavardian, Vice President of the Iran-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group, emphasizes economic cooperation development between the two sides.

Referring to the achievements of the Iranian parliamentary delegation's visit to Armenia, the Vice President of the Iran-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group said: "Armenia is one of the unique opportunities for Iran to neutralize sanctions."

He added: "During the recent visits of the Iranian Parliamentary delegation to Armenia, we concluded that economic, political, cultural, and social relations should be developed."

Shavardian also said that we emphasized strengthening the south-north corridor during the meeting with Armenian officials, which connects the Indian Ocean, the Oman Sea, and Chabahar to the provinces of West and East Azerbaijan from Armenia to Georgia, the Black Sea, and Central Europe.
