Hassan Kazemi Qomi

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Special Envoy for Afghanistan Affairs says his country is trying to keep open the borders and facilitate the traffic of the countries' traders.

Iran PressIran news: Hassan Kazemi Qomi said on Friday: "Iran seeks to facilitate trade between the two countries, open borders and streamline trade, which will bring both mutual benefits and aid to the Afghan people."

Kazemi Qomi highlighted trade and economy areas as one of the requirements of the two countries' cooperation and said that the interactions would continue under any political and security conditions. 

He noted that today with the US withdrawal from Afghanistan the 20-year long invasion of the country and the dire situation the Americans made for the Afghan people came to an end. 

The Special Envoy for Afghanistan Affairs reiterated that Iran's demand was the establishment of an inclusive government with the participation of all ethnic groups in Afghanistan.
