Tehran (IP) - The Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says the Resistance Axis is chasing the enemies throughout the Islamic countries and does not allow them to realize their plots.

Iran PressIran news: At a ceremony held on Thursday on the commemoration of the second anniversary of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani's martyrdom, Major General Hossein Salami stressed that if the Resistant Axis had not shaped in the region, the enemies would have invaded all of the Islamic countries.   

General Salami noted: "Through the assassination of General Soleimani, the enemy sought to undermine the Resistance Front, but thanks to the blessed blood of Martyr Soleimani, the Resistance Front became more powerful and stronger than before." 

On 3 January 2020, Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, chief commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was assassinated by the US via a drone strike at Baghdad International Airport.

Iranian top commander targeted and martyred when he arrived in an official visit at the invitation of the Iraqi government and was his way to meet Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi in Baghdad while Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy chairman of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF or Hashd al-Shabbi) was accompanied him.
