Kabul (IP) – A number of Afghan women took to the streets in Kabul chanting "we want justice."

Iran PressAsia: Several Afghan women demonstrated in Kabul on Tuesday to protest against discrimination and injustice, stressing that women also need work, food, and education.

Afghan women protesting in Kabul carried placards reading "we are the voice of the hungry people" and "we women are awake; we hate discrimination."

Women in Afghanistan want employment, education, and community participation, but the Taliban interim government has announced that women can work within the framework of what they call Islamic law.
