Rostam Ghasemi, Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Baghdad on Saturday night at the head of a delegation to meet and consult with Iraqi officials.

Iran PressMiddle East: Upon arrival at Baghdad International Airport, Rostam Ghasemi was greeted by a number of Iraqi Ministry of Transport officials.

During his four-day visit to Iraq, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran is scheduled to meet with his Iraqi counterpart, President Barham Saleh, Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi and some governors.

Completion of the Shalamcheh-Basra railway project is one of the plans on the schedule of the Iranian Minister during his visit to Iraq.
