Tehran (IP) - The Secretary of the Scientific Committee for Iran's National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus announced four-week lockdown proposal to the Task Force.

Iran PressIran news: Dr. Hamid Reza Jamaati at the end of the meeting of the Scientific Committee for Iran's National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus which was held this morning at the Heart Hotel in Tehran, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency added: "Necessary warnings should be given about Yalda night and the family gatherings so that Iranian citizens do not get involved in the coronavirus and especially the new Omicron variant."

The secretary of the National Scientific Committee for Corona Control said: "In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus variant, in addition to observing health protocols, Iranians should also receive the second and third doses of the COVID vaccine."

Dr. Hamidreza Jamaati added: "Of course, it is recommended that children and adolescents of 7 to 11 years of age also get the corona vaccine."
