(IP): The Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the ninth session of the Conference of the States Parties (COSP) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, met and consulted with the judicial authorities of different countries.

Iran PressMiddle East: Amin Hossein Rahimi, the Minister of Justice of Iran, traveled to Egypt to attend the ninth session of the Conference of the States Parties (COSP) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption evaluated the results of this meeting as very positive.

On the sidelines of the conference and bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various countries, Rahimi also met with Ghada Fathi Waly of Egypt, a Director-General/ Executive Director of the United Nations Office at Vienna / United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

During the meeting, Ghada Fathi Waly promised the Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran that she would provide the facilities provided under the Convention, including technical assistance, anti-corruption networks, and training courses to facilitate the fight against corruption Iran.

The 186-member United Nations Convention against Corruption is the most comprehensive document on combating economic and administrative corruption at the international level.
