Szijjártó arrived in Tehran to meet with Iranian officials and hold the second round of the joint economic cooperation commission.

Amirabdollahian considered the presence of more than 2,500 Iranian students and professors in Hungary as a good opportunity to help expand cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó, for his part, emphasized his country's view on cooperation based on mutual respect.

The Hungarian foreign minister outlined his country's resolve for expanding cooperation with East and Asia based on the government's policy since 2010 as well.
