Tehran (IP) - The bill on teachers ranking in Iran was approved by the Parliament.

Iran PressIran news: During the open session of Iran's Parliament held on Wednesday, Iran's lawmakers reviewed the indicators effective in the teachers’ ranking process, reported Iran Press News Agency.

During the session chaired by Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the proponents and the opponents presented their views on the teachers’ ranking bill.  

Article 5 states that obtaining higher ranks requires five years of service and obtaining the necessary conditions.

Pursuant to Article 4 of this bill, the ranking of teachers based on the given academic years and managerial records will be implemented by the end of this year.

In recent months, Iran has witnessed challenging conditions created by teachers in different cities demanding better salaries and conditions. Hence, reviewing the draft and final approval of it on Wednesday can improve their living conditions.
