Tehran (IP) - The commander of the Iranian navy says despite all efforts to weaken the relationship between Iran and Oman by the enemies and ill-wishers, the relationship between the two nations is still at the peak of stability.

Iran PressIran news: Heading a military delegation, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultanate of Oman's Armed Forces for Operations and Planning Brigadier General Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Mandhari met with Iran's Navy Commander Admiral Shahram Irani here in Tehran on Tuesday.

The commander of the Iranian navy called Oman a friendly and brotherly country and said: "The position of Iran and Oman is clear in the world due to their domination over the Strait of Hormuz, and peace and friendship are the main commonalities between the two countries."

Brigadier General Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Mandhari also said: "In terms of providing maritime security and countering naval terrorism in the Persian Gulf, the Sea of ​​Oman, and the Strait of Hormuz and to prevent the mischief of the ill-wishers and enemies of the region, Oman more than ever insists on continuing cooperation with Iran."
