Tehran (IP) - According to the representative of the Armenians of Tehran and northern Iran in the parliament, the Minister of Sports and Youth has promised to investigate and solve Tehran's Ararat club's problems.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press News Agency, Ara Shaverdian added: "In the next one or two weeks, Hamid Sajjadi, the Minister of Sports and Youth of is scheduled to visit the Ararat Club to meet with the board of trustees of the Club."

The parliament member expressed hope that the financial and budgetary problems of the Club would be resolved with the cooperation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth so that Ararat teams could participate in Iranian leagues as in the past.

In an interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of visiting this news agency, Shavardian said: "The Ararat club has not been able to prepare its teams for the leagues in recent years due to financial problems."
