Iran Press/ Middle East: According to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said on Saturday after meeting with Lebanese Mufti Abdul Latif Derian: "Lebanese parliamentary elections will be held on time and the country will overcome the crisis with the solidarity of the people."
During the meeting, the two sides discussed developments in Lebanon and relations with Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.
Lebanon's parliamentary elections are scheduled for March 27, 2022.
