Regarding interaction with neighbors, the president said: "We should look at relations with neighbors and borders not as a threat but as an opportunity."
Raisi added: "Relations with the Zionist regime will not create security for the countries of the region or for the regime itself, and the only factor that can bring peace to the region is the interaction of the countries in the region."
He called contact with neighbors, not a tactic but a strategy, and said: "The current situation in the neighborhood policy is not favorable and is minimal, and ambassadors and missions should do the best of their abilities to move forward."
