Iran Press/ Iran news: Seyyed Nizamuddin Mousavi said: "The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly will leave for Turkey this evening to participate in the two-day meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC)."
He added that in addition to attending the PUIC Conference, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf will have bilateral meetings with the Speakers of some Islamic countries present at the event.
He stated that parliamentary diplomacy and helping to develop the economic relations of neighboring countries by supporting economic actors and the private sector are among the items emphasized by the 11th parliament: "Meeting with Iranian and Turkish businessmen and consultations to facilitate economic relations and support the private sectors of the two countries will be an important part of this parliamentary trip."
The 16th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Conference with the central theme of "Palestine, Immigration and Afghanistan" will be held on December 9 - 10, 2021 in Istanbul, to be hosted by the Turkish Parliament.
