The Islamic Republic of Iran is serious in Vienna talks and expects the logical proposals it has presented to be carefully considered, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said on Tuesday.

Amirabdollahian made the remarks during a meeting with the members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament.

"Iran expects the rational proposals made in Vienna to be carefully considered," he told the parliamentarians.

The Foreign Minister stressed that the government's foreign policy is balanced, dynamic, and intelligent.

Regarding the nuclear talks in Vienna, Amirabdullahian stated: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is serious in the talks and expects the logical proposals it has presented to be carefully considered."

He stressed that the Iranian negotiating team in Vienna is working to lift sanctions against the Iranian people.

At the meeting, the Chairman and members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly explained their views on various issues of foreign policy.
