Iran's CID Police Chief arrives in Pakistan

Islamabad (IP) - The CID Police Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived in the Pakistani capital at the head of a delegation to talk to Pakistani officials about bilateral police cooperation.

Iran PressAsia: According to Iran press, Brigadier General Mohammad Ghanbari, The CID Police Chief, at the head of a delegation arrived at Islamabad International Airport this morning (Sunday). He was greeted by Sami-ur-Rehman Jami, Liaison Officer of Pakistan Immigration Police in Iran, Mohammad Sorkhabi Deputy The Iranian embassy and Colonel Omid Sarvari, Iran's liaison officer for counter-narcotics.

Sardar Mohammad Ghanbari, The CID Police Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran is scheduled to meet with the Pakistani Interior Minister, the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and some officials of the Public Security and Intelligence Police of Pakistan to discuss the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Visiting some of the police stations and fighting cybercrime, traveling to Lahore and meeting with the regional directors of the Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan are other plans of The CID Police Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran and his delegation to Pakistan.

The official visit of The CID Police Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan will take place at the invitation of the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency.
