The American National Board of Review awarded two prizes to the Iranian film 'A Hero' by Asghar Farhadi for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Original Screenplay.

Since 1909, the National Board of Review has dedicated its efforts to the support of film, domestic and foreign, as both art and entertainment.

'A Hero' directed by famous Iranian director Asghar Farhadi won the Best Film Award at the 31st Films from the South in Oslo, Norway.

Farhadi had previously won the title of Best Foreign Language Film of the Year with 'A Separation', but this is the first time that Farhadi has won the award for Best Original Screenplay of the Year.

Asghar Farhadi’s latest feature film 'A Hero' also received the Best Motion Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay prizes from the 21st round of Hafez Awards in Iran.
