Tehran (IP) - The deputy speaker in Iran's parliament expressed hope that Spain, as a member of the European Union, would play a role in the process of Iran's nuclear negotiations with the P4+1.

Iran PressEurope: On Friday, Ali Nikzad, the Iranian parliament's first deputy speaker and the parliamentary delegation met with the Speaker of Spain's congress, Meritxell Batet, to discuss the expansion of parliamentary relations and the deepening of relations between the two countries.

The Speaker of Spain's congress appreciated Iran's constructive cooperation in leaving Afghan nationals, working with Spain, from their country.

The deputy speaker of Iran's parliament headed a delegation to Madrid to attend the 134th International Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPU).
