Daily COVID death toll declines in Iran: 97 in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 97 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 129,053.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 22, 2021, 6,082,865 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,795,060 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 5,427 cases, out of whom 840 patients were hospitalized.

3,393 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 37,887,368 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, eight cities are red, 58 are orange, 236 are yellow, and 146 are blue zones.

So far, 56,830,741 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 45,115,003 have received the second dose, 803,290 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 102,749,034 doses.
