Riots broke out in Iraq after the recent parliamentary elections.
Referring to the unrest, calling for the use of all capacities for peace and stability in Iraq, Raisi said: "We consider the elections as an important achievement for the sovereignty of the Iraqi people, and we have always wanted the Iraqi people to decide their destiny by voting. In this regard, we support the resolution of any ambiguity through political processes and in a legal and transparent manner."
Appreciating Iran's support for the Iraqi people, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi said: "Iran has always wanted Iraq to have security and stability." 219
