Tehran (IP) - Iran's Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade reported the co-establishment of an industrial city by Iran and Armenia.

Iran PressIran news: Hervik Yarijanian announced a joint venture between economic activists, businessmen, and craftsmen of Iran and Armenia and the construction of a joint industrial city.

Yarijanian expressed hope that with the continuation of economic and industrial cooperation as well as the facilitation of the two sides' private sectors' cooperation, the establishment of small industries and joint industrial cities between Iran and Armenia would be operational.

Reminding his meeting with the Armenian Minister of Economy a few weeks ago in Yerevan, the Iranian official said: "Armenia's Minister of Economy welcomed the economic development of the two countries; about 50 hectares of land is supposed to be allocated for the construction of a joint industrial city between Iran and Armenia." 219
