Tehran(IP)- Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Economy and Commerce said that via Kyrgyzstan, Iran's entrance to international markets would be feasible through extending road and maritime transits.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Rostam Ghasemi, and the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Daniyar Amangeldiev, held a meeting on Saturday. 

In an interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the Joint Commissions for Economic Cooperation meeting of Iran and Kyrgyzstan, Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that the grounds are prepared for the business activities of both countries' investors.

"Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to economic cooperation with Iran in various fields, especially in joint ventures," said Amangeldiev on Saturday.

Stressing the historical political, trade, and cultural ties between Iran and Kyrgyzstan, Amangeldiev also said that Iran was one of the first countries to recognize Kyrgyzstan's independence.

Kyrgyzstan is rich in natural resources and highly attractive in agriculture and tourism, so efforts are being made for a significant boom between the two countries, the Kyrgyz minister told Iran Press.

At the meeting meat export to Iran and the establishment of dairy factories due to Iran's high potential in the field of dairy production, were also discussed.

Also, the revival of the issues of the agreements reached between the previous governments were discussed, said the top Kyrgyz official. 

During the meeting, Amangeldiev expressed satisfaction with the successful holding of the joint commission on economic cooperation between Iran and Kyrgyzstan, expressing hope that the commission would help remove obstacles to the cooperation and develop a roadmap for bilateral relations. 219
