Madrid (IP) - Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, who is in Madrid, discussed Iran's nuclear program with Spanish Deputy Foreign Minister Angelos Moreno and Enrique Mora, Coordinator of the JCPOA Joint Commission.

Iran PressIran News: In the meeting with the Spanish Deputy Foreign Minister in Madrid, Iran's nuclear negotiator discussed issues of mutual interest and upcoming nuclear talks in Vienna. 

After meeting, Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Ángeles Moreno Bau in a message termed her talks with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani as fruitful.

"Fruitful meeting with my Iranian counterpart to strengthen our bilateral ties and our political dialogue," Moreno wrote in her Twitter account on Friday

"We have addressed Bilateral affairs Nuclear agreement (JCPOA) Regional issues, including the situation in Afghanistan," she added.

Iran's DFM met Enrique Mora

In the second meeting, Ali Bagheri-Kani discussed upcoming Vienna talks with the Coordinator of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Joint Commission, Enrique Mora, in the Spanish capital.

Bagheri-Kani, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, arrived in Madrid on Friday after talks in London.

The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister continued his visit to Spain by visiting several European countries, including France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

Bagheri described the talks with France, Germany, and Britain as frank and serious but forward-looking.

The Deputy Foreign Minister after meeting in London said: "I had excellent talks with the officials of the three European countries."

"The talks were both frank and serious, as well as constructive and forward-looking," he noted.
