Tehran (IP) - The Commander of Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) says the Islamic Republic of Iran has always proved in practice that it has never been an invading force but a defender of its right.

Iran PressIran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press (IP) on Thursday, Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh criticized many Western countries, including the US, Europeans, and Arabs, who all confronted Iran during the eight-year imposed war of Iraq on Iran, noting that the issue required Iran to strengthen itself more than ever.

Speaking to IP on the sidelines of the ceremony to commemorate the 10th Martyrdom anniversary for Martyr Hassan Tehrani-Moghaddam, Brigadier General Hajizadeh said: "Many years after the war, we sought to strengthen our defense and military power."

"The grounds have been paved for progress and it will continue, of course, not for expansionism, but for the preservation of the Iranian nation's security," General Hajizadeh specified. 

The commemoration ceremony for the 10th  martyrdom anniversary of Martyr Hassan Tehrani-Moghaddam was held in Tehran on Thursday, November 11, 2021, under full compliance with hygienic protocols, with the attendance of Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, the Parliament Speaker, and Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the Commander of Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC).
