Tehran (IP) - The Chairmen of the National Olympic Committees of Iran and Hungary signed a Memorandum of Understanding to pave the way for more sports cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressIran news: In the signing ceremony of the agreement held Tuesday, the Chairman of Iran's National Olympic Committee Reza Salehi Amiri said with the signing of the recent agreement, sports cooperation between Iran and Hungary would take place in three sections: joint camps, exchange of coaches, and holding friendly sports competitions.

He highlighted sports diplomacy, noting: "The development of Iranian sports diplomacy is one of the tasks of the National Olympic Committee, and the officials of this committee have held more than 120 meetings with sports officials of different countries in the recent four years."

The President and Secretary-General of the Hungarian National Olympic Committee Krisztián Kulcsár and Balint Vékássy, as well as Reza Salehi Amiri and Kikavous Saeedi, President and Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee of Iran, were present in the ceremony.

The Hungarian sports delegation visited the National Sports Museum of Iran.
