Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman said that if the US leaves Iraq, peace and stability will be in the country.

Iran PressIran news: Attending his weekly and press conference and responding to Iran Press question, Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that everyone should respect the law in Iraq and the US must leave there as soon as possible.

Recently, US President Joe Biden, in an interview with CNN, claimed that he asked his national security team to help security forces in Iraq.

Later on, Khatibzadeh noted that Iraq needs peace right then and referred to Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian phone call with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, adding that all must help Iraq since peace in Iraq needs cooperation right now.
