IRIB World Service director visits Iran Press

Tehran (IP) – The new director of IRIB World Service visited Iran Press News Agency and talked with IP personnel.

Iran PressIran News: Ahmad Noroozi, on Tuesday evening, paid a visit to Iran Press News Agency and talked with its personnel.

Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, Peyman Jebelli, has appointed Ahmad Norouzi as the new head of the IRIB World Service on Monday, 11 October 2021.

The appointment took place with Dr. Jebelli defining a set of new responsibilities for the position that oversees the IRIB's foreign-language outlets.

As part of the expanded responsibilities, the head of the World Service has been tasked with further empowering the IRIB branch in terms of efficacy, informative edge, and cultural reach, among other things, read the directive appointing Norouzi to the position.

Born in 1988, Ahmad Norouzi is a doctoral student studying Media Management at the University of Tehran. He has been serving various duties over the years, including managing the English-language content and interviews published on the official website of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Most recently, Norouzi served as the advisor to the head of the IRIB World Service and the Press TV television network's operations and content manager.
