Iran logs 160 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 160 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 126,616.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 02, 2021, 5,944,599 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,534,667 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,104 cases, out of whom 1,344 patients were hospitalized.

3,818 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 35,726,294 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 22 cities are red, 114 are orange, 201 are yellow, and 111 are blue zones.

So far, 53,102,837 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 36,054,893 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 89,255,211 doses.
