Iran Press/ Europe: Xavi Hernández has accepted an offer from Barcelona to become their head coach after the sacking of Ronald Koeman. The deal is due to be confirmed once the agreement is reached to terminate his contract as manager of the Qatari club Al Sadd.
Barcelona have decided to dismiss Koeman following their 1-0 La Liga defeat to Rayo Vallecano. The result puts the Catalan giants ninth in the table, six points behind leaders Real Madrid.
