Iran’s National Paralympic Committee President:

Tehran (IP): The President of Iran’s National Paralympic Committee said that the problem of recruiting paralympians had been solved, and only its administrative process must be passed.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency on the sidelines of the ceremony of awarding Olympic and Paralympic medalists, held last night in the presence of Iran's President, Mahmoud Khosravivafa added: “Following the order by Iran's Islamic Revolution Leader to eliminate the problem of hiring Paralympic medalists, the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has also ordered that this issue be given priority by the government.”

He also said: "A bill has been submitted to the Parliament by the government, and the Paralympic medalists will have no trouble being hired. Of course it will take some time for the bill to be implemented.”

Regarding the ceremony of awarding the Olympic and Paralympic medalists, he said: "The good thing about such a ceremony is that the athletes will see the officials fulfilling their promises."

Iran's President to revive Zurkhaneh sports

The head of Iran's federation for Zurkhane and Bastani(ancient) sports said that Iran's President has promised to help the Zurkhane sports revive in Iran.

In an Exclusive interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the ceremony of awarding Olympic and Paralympic medalists, Mehr Ali Baran Cheshme said: "In order to expand zurkhaneh and ancient sports as much as possible, a zurkhaneh should be set up in each city, which, of course, requires a sufficient budget."

The awarding ceremony of the Olympic and Paralympic medalists was held last night in Tehran's Azadi Stadium in the presence of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Minister of Sports and Youth Hamid Sajjadi.
