The chairman of the committee investigating the attack on the US Congress stated on Sunday that the storming of US congress on January 6 was undoubtedly premeditated.

Iran PressAmerica:  "The worst thing for the United States is that Trump himself invited people to attack Congress," said the chairman of the committee investigating the January 6 incident, Bennie Thompson, adding that the attack was premeditated.

The investigation into the January 6 attack on the Congress building by supporters of former US President Donald Trump continues. Part of the process is sending subpoenas to a number of former government officials.

According to this; subpoenas have been issued for a number of Trump associates, including his former adviser, Steve Bannon.

Bannon, however, has so far ignored the subpoena.

Steve Bannon has repeatedly stated that he will not go to court until a dispute between Donald Trump and members of the review committee is resolved.

In this regard, the US House of Representatives voted in a congressional hearing to allow Steve Bannon to be prosecuted for failing to cooperate with the Inquiry Committee.

On January 6, as a joint session of the US Congress was underway to finalize Joe Biden's victory in the US presidential election, a number of Trump supporters stormed into the US Capitol.

At least six people were killed and dozens more were injured in the attack. 219
