Geneva (IP) - Representatives of Iran, Russia and Turkey held the Astana talks with the UN special envoy for Syria in Geneva.

Iran PressEurope: At the meeting held on the sidelines of a meeting of the Syrian Constitutional Committee in Geneva, Iran's representative Ali-Asghar Khaji supported the UN envoy's contributions, stressing that the humanitarian crisis, the lifting of sanctions, reconstruction, and the fight against terrorism in Syria must be pursued in addition to the talks.

Khaji also called on the international community to stop the US and Israeli regime's occupation and aggression on the Syrian territory. 

Heading a high-ranking delegation in Geneva, Ali-Asghar Khaji, the Senior Advisor to Iran’s foreign minister, held seperate meetings with other representatives affiliated to the Astana process.
